Head of Operations

Leverage Live Local prepares and manages Florida Live Local Act property tax exemptions for multifamily owners. We represent more than 90 properties and about 30,000 units. Demand is not our constraint. Operations is. This seat owns the operating system that lets us grow without breaking.

What's in it for you. A base of 180,000 dollars with upside tied to the numbers you own, full compensation likely 250,000 to 350,000 dollars when the role is performing. Direct weekly access to the founder. Twenty days of paid time off plus federal holidays. Fully remote.

What you own

• Every exemption application submitted correctly and on time, every cycle
• Decision tracking by the statutory deadline, logged in the system of record
• Denials and appeals, every one, with deadlines met
• The annual recertification and compliance cadence
• The operations team: SLAs, data hygiene, accountability
• One shared source of truth for the team, the software, and our clients

Your scorecard at 90 days and 6 months. On time filing, denial rate, contract to filing ready, recurring compliance completion, and founder escalations. Legal deadlines are 100 percent from day one. Full targets are on our careers page.

This is for you if you have walked into a messy, growing services business and made it run tight, you like being measured on real numbers, and you have managed a team of three or more. You must be able to work core hours overlapping 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern US time.

This is not for you if you have never owned operations for a multi million dollar service business, you would rather build strategy decks than run a daily operating rhythm, or you want a strict nine to five.

Compensation and benefits

• Performance upside tied to the five scorecard numbers
• Direct weekly founder access
• 20 days PTO plus US federal holidays
• 500 dollars per month health stipend
• 1,000 dollar home office stipend
• 1,200 dollars per year professional development

How to apply. Answer these screening questions in your application note: what metrics did you track in your last role and what were they when you started versus when you left; how many people have you directly managed (minimum 3); have you owned a process with hard regulatory or external deadlines; can you work core hours that overlap 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern; does a base salary of 180,000 dollars work for you. Shortlisted candidates get a short video about the role and a written and Loom exercise with a deadline.
