About the Role

We are looking for a Product Sales Account Executive to join our Sales and Go-to-Market team. This role can be based in any major city within the USA, reporting to the Director, SecOps. You will support a specific region, acting as the primary specialist to drive revenue growth within the security operations product suite, including unified vulnerability management, deception and threat hunting. You will lead the charge in demonstrating the power of cloud transformation to cement our position as a global leader in cloud security.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Serve as the primary specialist for customers, partners, and internal teams to drive revenue growth across the security operations product portfolio

• Partner with domain-expert solution engineers to capture customer requirements and craft compelling value propositions that close complex business deals

• Own the regional quota and territory achievement by building and implementing account-based strategies to land and expand data security solutions

• Collaborate synergistically with primary sales teams and leadership to ensure a unified and effective Zscaler presence in the market

• Engage stakeholders across the organization, selling effectively to both C-suite executives and technical practitioners

Who You Are (Success Profile)

• You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.

• You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

• You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.

• You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.

• You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving

• 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• Progressive experience engaging with and selling to accounts at the C-level

• Demonstrated expertise and practical experience with value-based selling methodologies

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Established relationships with current and prospective customers within the enterprise security landscape

• Direct experience selling unified vulnerability management, deception and threat hunting

• Proven proficiency in strategic sales planning and a track record of closing net new logos
• Effectively leverage LLMs and Generative AI tools to boost productivity and sales effectiveness across research, prospecting, customer prep, and opportunity management
