You’ll act as the Tech lead of our website, landing pages, experimentation framework and content tooling. You’ll work at the intersection of design and demand generation, helping Marketing ship faster while pursuing excellence in quality, performance and creativity.</p> <p>This is a senior, hands-on role focused on ownership and outcomes. You’ll collaborate with other Engineering resources to drive ideas to production, optimize website performance and scale the website to Enterprise level.</p> <p>The stack is modern and lightweight: <strong>Vercel serverless functions (Node.js / TypeScript)</strong> with no long-running servers. Experience with transitioning from a custom platform to a CMS is also essential</p> <hr> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Define Technical Strategy:</strong> Own the long-term technical roadmap for Fingerprint’s web presence, ensuring our marketing surfaces are as scalable, secure, and performant as our core product.</li> <li><strong>Architect Scalable Systems:</strong> Lead the architectural transition from custom code to a headless CMS/Framer-driven ecosystem that balances developer flexibility with marketing autonomy.</li> <li><strong>Drive Technical Excellence:</strong> Act as the final authority on website infrastructure and tool selection, ensuring our stack (Vercel, Gatsby, Node.js) remains modern, lightweight, and debt-free.</li> <li><strong>Engineering Partnership:</strong> Serve as the primary technical liaison between Marketing and the broader Engineering organization, ensuring cross-team dependencies are identified and unblocked early.</li> <li><strong>Build-to-Enable:</strong> Create reusable components, primitives, and "Golden Paths" in Framer and Gatsby that allow non-technical stakeholders to ship high-quality pages without constant engineering intervention.</li> <li><strong>Performance &amp; Security Oversight:</strong> Own the "Definition of Done" for web projects, maintaining elite Lighthouse scores, robust SEO, and rigorous security standards (CSP, headers, and data privacy).</li> <li><strong>Experimentation Infrastructure:</strong> Lead the technical implementation of our A/B testing and attribution frameworks (Amplitude, Posthog, GTM), ensuring data integrity across the entire conversion path.</li> <li><strong>Technical Mentorship:</strong> Provide high-level architectural guidance and rigorous code reviews for other engineering resources contributing to the web properties.</li> <li><strong>Strategic Advising:</strong> Act as the senior technical partner for Marketing leadership, distilling complex technical trade-offs into clear business decisions regarding feasibility and impact.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>What You Bring</strong></h2> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in Marketing Engineering, Frontend, or Growth Engineering roles</li> <li>3+ years of experience as a <strong>Tech Lead</strong> or <strong>Staff Engineer</strong>, with a proven track record of designing systems that allow non-technical stakeholders (Marketing/Growth) to scale independently</li> <li>Experience owning and evolving production marketing websites</li> <li>Strong proficiency with modern frontend fundamentals including HTML, CSS and JavaScript</li> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Framer</strong></li> <li>Experience building serverless APIs using Node.js and Typescript</li> <li>Strong understanding of analytics, experimentation and attribution</li> <li>Experience using Amplitude, Google Tag Manager and Posthog</li> <li>Strong design sensibility, including attention to spacing, heirachy, motion, and detail</li> <li>Capability to create delightful, accessible and performant experiences to users, adhering to latency benchmarks</li> <li>Familiarity with SEO, performance optimization and CRO best practices</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of outcomes</li> <li>Clear communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with Marketing, including consistent collaboration through Slack, screenshots and calls</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience building custom code components in Framer</li> <li>Knowledge of UX and best design practices</li> <li>Experience with advanced Framer animations or custom motion components.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>Framer Motion</strong></li> <li>Experience with serverless integrations</li> <li>Motion or interaction design background</li> <li>Background in B2B SaaS, PLG, or cybersecurity</li> <li>Experience working closely with Marketing teams</li> <li>Familiarity with CMS-driven or structured content setups</li> <li>Ability to prioritize cost versus the impact on experience (for example, some animations are unnecessary because they are not the main focus)</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong><em>For US-based employees</em></strong><em>, the cash compensation range for this role is </em><strong><em>$178,000 - $205,000.</em></strong><em> We set standard ranges for all US roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.
